As Head of Product and Business Development, my job is to make sure we build the right financial tools—and that these tools actually drive business growth.

Because I oversee system development, people often assume my role is purely technical. In reality, my focus is equally on sales, marketing, and growing our business volumes. I sit right between the business goals and the engineering team, translating sales targets, market needs, and compliance rules into scalable tech solutions.

2020 – Present

For the past three years, my main objective has been to align our product capabilities with our sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue and scale safely. I lead the development of our core financial systems while managing the commercial strategy behind them.
Key Focus Areas:
  • Driving Business Growth: I manage the commercial side of our products. My goal is to ensure our platforms actively support customer acquisition, marketing efforts, and the overall growth of business volumes.
  • Credit Risk Modeling: I lead the development of our credit risk models. We want to scale aggressively, but it has to be done safely and based on solid, automated data decisions.
  • Building the Core System: I have been spearheading the replacement of our legacy software with a custom-built credit management engine that handles the entire client lifecycle.
  • Optimizing for Sales: I believe good back-office tools directly impact the bottom line. By redesigning internal workflows and automating compliance checks, our team spends less time on manual admin work and more time closing deals.

The Hero Project: Launching Monefit This wasn't just a management role, it was a building role. I took Monefit from a whiteboard concept to a market leader.
  • Hands-on Building: I worked directly with the IT team and the Group Board to architect the automated onboarding flow and product logic.
  • Exponential Growth: As a Board Member, I designed the marketing and sales strategies that scaled the business volumes multiple times over, month-on-month.
  • P&L Responsibility: Managed the balance between aggressive growth and portfolio quality.
Earlier role in Creditstar Group AS: CEO of M-Kindlustus. Managed a digital-first insurance brokerage where we focused on innovating the buying process and combining digital sales with human advisory.
